A great chance to take care of last-minute membeership renewals in-person and pick up your 2024 membership cards.

Meeting Reminder -- November 16

The club's last business meeting of the year will be held on Thursday, November 16 from 6:00 - 7:45pm in the second floor boardroom at Park Mazda, located at 863 Fir Street in Sherwood Park.

For those wishing to remit their 2024 membership renewal funds in-person, you can happily do so to avoid the e-mail reminders later in December.

Otherwise, we skip December, so won't meet again until the third calendar Thursday in January, 2024.

The BBQ is sponsored by Sundance Mazda, so come out, enjoy a nice drive, and have fun at the party atmosphere.

Event Reminder -- WRMC Annual Show'n'Shine -- Sunday, September 10

The cars are the stars are the club's annual Show'n'Shine event for trophies and prizes. Lunch will be included. 10:00am to 2:00pm at our venue of the last two events located just off 51 Avenue and 99 Street. We'll be collecting funds in support of the Alberta Lung Associaiton in memory of Bob Engler, who's daughter and widow will be attending with Bob's Miata. If you need details, e-mail the club.

Event Reminder -- A Brazen Dash for Ice Cream -- August 26

We'll break in a new route out to the Brazeau Dam for a picnic (with a quick pit stop in Drayton Valley beforehand), then head south to the David Thompson Highway to circle back to Rocky Mountain House for gas and then head east to Gull Lake to enjoy a fantastic ice cream cone at The Wooden Shoe, before tackling the back roads north back towards home.

Event Reminder -- NASCC Speedway Revival "Vintage Themed" road races with Spec Miata Championship season ender -- August 19/20

The weekend of August 19/20 is the NASCC's Speedway Revival road racing event at RAD Torque Raceway, with special Vintage themed guest cars and exciting road racing of all classes, including the season-ending six races in the 2023 Spec Miata Championship as sponsored by MAXXIS Tires Canada with contingency prize monies from Mazda Canada Inc.

Meeting Reminder -- August 17

In support of A&W's Burgers to Beat MS, we'll be meeting at the Wye Road A&W in Sherwood Park at 5:00pm to partake of Teen Burgers in support of MS.

The club's monthly meeting will follow at Park Mazda from 6:00-7:45pm.
