The club's first meeting of the year is Thursday, January 15, at 7pm in the second-floor boardroom of Park Mazda in Sherwood Park.

A great opportunity to pay your 2015 club membership dues in-person, as all 2014 memberships expired on December 31.

At the October meeting it was noted that Friday, October 17 was club member George R.'s 94th birthday. Befitting of a Miata owner, he doesn't look nor act his age. Congrats and many more!

Meeting Reminder -- Past due for October

The club's monthly meeting was held on October 16 per usual at Park Mazda. A good turn-out, six more hats distributed, and a lively discussion with some details on up-coming 2015 events. The club's last meeting for the year will be on November 20...hope to see you there.

Event Reminder -- Saturday, October 4 -- Fall Colours Run

Detailed information will be sent out to the club members regarding timing, but Saturday, October 4 is the club's Fall Colours Run, starting from Gateway Park on the QEII Highway, with a mid-point at Seba Beach, and end point in St. Albert (meal at Soda Jerks if you want to stay).

Come out, and if you don't already have one, get your MX-5 Miata 25th Anniversary hat courtesy of Mazda Canada Inc.

Come out and hear the tales of those who attended the Miatas at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca event including the unveiling of the 4th generation ND-model MX-5 Miata, as well as anything else you want to talk about.

The monthly club meeting is again upon us...Thursday, August 21, at 7pm in the second floor boardroom of Park Mazda.

Members who haven't already done so are encouraged to please pick up their "25th Anniversary" hats; gifts from Mazda Canada Inc.

Event Reminder -- Saturday, July 19 -- Cold Lake Air Show

In celebration of the Royal Canadian Air Force's 90th anniversary and Canadian Forces Base Cold Lake's 60th anniversary, there is an airshow on Saturday, July 19.

Tickets at the gate are $5/person.

While it seems that there's not enough interest to actually make this into a formal club event, those that were thinking of going still should.

Indeed, it's that time again -- the club's monthly meeting is Thursday, July 17, starting at 7pm in the second-floor boardroom of Park Mazda in Sherwood Park.

All club members in attendance (who didn't receive it already within the last month) will receive their special gift from Mazda Canada (as noted in the just-published Miata Musings newsletter).

Additionally, the winners of the recently held annual Show 'n Shine event will be able to pick up their engraved trophies tonight -- you know who you are!
