Meeting Reminder -- March 19, 2026

Once again, it's club meeting time on Thursday, March 19 from 6:00-7:45pm in the second floor boardroom at Park Mazda, located at 983 Fir Street, Sherwood Park.

Come out and pick up your club member name badges AND your license plate frame!!!

Yes, you read that correctly, the plate frame order has been delivered in time for the March club meeting so that you can adorn your Mazda MX-5 Miata befitting it's member status (two new club decals on the door vent windows and license plate frame on the rear) to show the world, while you can be sporting your name badge at all club events and meetings.

For those members in Sherwood Park, please do make the effort to come out this month to take some of these items off my hands!

Meeeting Reminder -- February 19, 2026

The club's upcoming meeting is Thursday, February 19 from 6:00pm - 7:45pm in the second floor boardroom at Park Mazda, located at 983 Fir Street in Sherwood Park.

The Spring issue of the Miata Musings newsletter should be published a day or two prior, so there will be much to discuss as we approach our scheduled events for the summer season (and welcome any additional event ideas that members have).

Club member name badges will be available for pick up commencing with this month's meeting, so I hope to see many of you out -- especially those of you who live in Sherwood Park!

January brings us to the club meeting seemingly a week early, as the third calendar Thursday occurs in the second full week.

Our first club meeting of new year is on Thursday, January 15 is from 6:00 - 7:45pm in the second-floor boardroom at Park Mazda, located at 983 Fir Street in Sherwood Park.

You can renew your club membership in-person should you not wish to do so electronically via eTransfer.

2026 Membership Renewal

If you've not already done so, your 2025 club membership expired last night, so please see your e-mail of this morning and either undertake a renewal for 2026 via one of the two methods or inform the club that you won't be renewing so that can cease reminding you.

Here's to another great year of club outings and gatherings!

Meeting Reminder -- November 20, 2025

The club's last meeting of the year will be held on Thursday, November 20 from 6:00 - 7:45pm in the second floor boardroom of Park Mazda, located at 983 Fir Street, Sherwood Park. Stairs to the second floor are located between the main showroom and the Parts and Service departments.

It'll be a great time / place to renew your club membership in-person for 2026. Dues remain $20 for the year, which is easily recouped by utilizing one of our many club member discounts by showing your membership card at one of our supporting businesses (list is up-to-date on the back page of your latest Miata Musings newsletter).

Cars and coffee at Anvil Coffee House (6148 - 90 Avenue NW) on Sunday, October 26 from 11:00am to 1:00pm.

Come out and have a coffee and mingle in the parking lot.

Great chance to still bring out the Miata before winter storage.

Event Reminder -- Fall Colours Run & BBQ -- September 27, 2025

Saturday, September 27 is our Fall Colours Run & BBQ to celebrate the club's 31st birthday (close enough).

While the drive is open to all club members, the BBQ is by RSVP sot that we can bring enough food. Please see your e-mail for the RSVP request. (Timing and other details are in that e-mail as well.)

Detailed route information will follow as we get nearer to the event date.
