Meeting Reminder -- September 17

The club's monthly meeting is tonight! Thursday, September 17 at 7pm under the service department awning at Park Mazda. Bring a lawn chair and please wear a mask. Last chance to donate to our charitable cause in memory of Mark Young before I inform Mazda Canada of the final tally so that they can match us dollar-for-dollar.

Meeting Reminder -- August 20

Bring your lawn chairs and a mask, and meet you under the awning at Park Mazda for 7pm for a physically-distant club meeting outside. (Please don't park under there, as that's where we'll be sitting.)

Meeting Reminder -- July 16

We'll give it a whirl for an in-person meeting tomorrow, our usual date, at 7pm in the parking lot of Park Mazda (perhaps under the awning if it's raining)...so bring a lawn chair and a mask (in case we have to go inside).

The McDonalds at Wye Road & Ordze Road has masks, so please stop in there before the meeting for a package of masks if you don't have any.

If it's really raining we'll play it by ear.

Event Reminder -- Spring Drive -- May 23

The club's Spring Drive event is all set for Saturday, May 23 at 1pm. Details have been e-mailed to all club members.

Hope to see you there for a great 2-1/2 hour long drive.

COVID-19 Impacts

Recognizing the quickly developing nature of today, the following events will no longer take place:

Club meeting -- March 19 -- cancelled
Club meeting -- April 16 -- cancelled
Edmonton Motor Show -- April 17 -- cancelled (the entire show has been cancelled)
Fred Phillips Car Collection Tour -- April 25 -- postponed TBA

Hopefully we can resume normal operations in May with our club meeting on May 21 and the Spring Drive.

No word yet whether this will affect the History Road event at the Reynolds-Alberta Museum on June 13 for us and our annual Show'n'Shine event. Stay tuned!

Meeting Reminder -- February 20

The club's monthly meeting is Thursday, February 20 commencing at 7pm in the second floor boardroom of Park Mazda in Sherwood Park. Arrive a little early to view the brand new 2020 Mazda CX-30 or the Mazda3, recently awarded the AJAC's 2020 Car of the Year recipient.

Anyway, as cabin fever is in approaching its end, it's time to talk 2020 events (some good ones are coming) and other activities as we prepare for spring.

Meeting Reminder -- January 16, 2020

Yes, we did have our November 21 meeting; the last for 2019...I just apparently forgot to post about it.

But our first club meeting of 2020 will be on Thursday, January 16, from 7:00 to 8:30pm in the second-floor boardroom of Park Mazda in Sherwood Park.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in the meantime and we'll see you again in January. Memberships will expire on December 31, 2019 if you haven't already renewed. See the e-mail reminder(s) to do so least you start to miss out on important club communications and information.
